Read the signal with its uncertainty#
Trial Signal brings study-level outcome summaries into a review view, including estimates and confidence intervals where supported. Read these alongside sample size, missing data, the protocol, and the analysis plan. A promising trend is not proof that an intervention caused an improvement.
Respect the blind#
Permission to view a study does not automatically grant access to Trial Signal. Additional access and blinding rules govern the view. A team member who cannot see unblinded comparisons should continue using the permitted monitoring workspaces.
See Randomization and blinding and Roles and permissions.
Publication is an explicit step#
An eligible study’s public signal must be enabled explicitly by an authorized team member. Internal access does not make results public. Confirm eligibility, the study’s release process, and interpretation before publishing. This view does not replace a statistical analysis plan, a clinical interpretation, or a regulatory submission.
For reviewable datasets and closeout, see Exports and CDISC and Locking and closeout.
