TrialPilot helps you take part in research from home, on your own terms. Instead of traveling to a clinic for every step, you can join a study, give consent, answer short check-ins, complete assessments, connect wearable data if you choose, and watch your own trends — all from your phone.
These pages walk you through the whole experience, from installing the app to seeing results after a study ends. You never have to do everything at once. Read what you need, when you have the energy for it.
What you can do in the app#
The app is organized into a few main areas. Here is what each one is for:

Where TrialPilot runs#
TrialPilot is built for iOS and Android. Where available, there is also a web version that runs in your browser — helpful when a phone is not handy, or when a study only needs surveys.
The web version is a deliberate subset of the app, and it says so plainly. Some studies can be completed entirely in a browser. Other things stay on your phone: syncing wearable data, guided physical assessments, and push notification reminders. If a study needs the phone app, TrialPilot tells you before you enroll — the study details screen shows whether a study can be completed in a browser or needs the app.
