Built by a patient. For patients, and the people racing to help them.

TrialPilot exists to make clinical research reach the people it's meant to serve β€” wherever they live, however sick they are β€” without asking researchers to trade away rigor to get there.

Our mission

Breakthrough treatments should be reachable for everyone β€” not just the people who happen to live near a research hospital. Geography, mobility, and money shouldn't decide who gets a shot at a trial. So we built a platform that brings the study to the patient instead.

TrialPilot was started by someone living with Long COVID, so the urgency isn't abstract to us. The platform lets researchers run faster, more inclusive studies without lowering the bar on data quality or compliance β€” patients are met where they are, and the science still holds up to a regulator. We're building it one trial at a time.

Meet the team

Veteran builders, pointed at the hardest problem we know.

Engineers who've shipped to millions, clinical-research professionals, and people who live with chronic illness β€” together on one thing: making trials work better for patients and the teams who run them.

Our founder has been living with Long COVID for five years and has witnessed firsthand the failures of traditional clinical trial systems. After working with leading researchers from institutions like UCSF, Yale, and other institutions around the world, participating in prioritizing therapeutics at the NIH, serving on the biospecimen committee, helping design the NIH GLP-1 trial for Long COVID, and interviewing twice at ARPA-H, he realized the urgent need for a platform that could accelerate research while maintaining scientific rigor.

Today, TrialPilot brings together former Microsoft and Xamarin engineers, clinical research professionals, and AI experts to build the future of decentralized clinical trials. We're driven by a powerful mission to make breakthrough treatments accessible to everyone, regardless of location or circumstances. We're also looking for passionate volunteers and community members to help shape the future of TrialPilot.

Investors

Independent, early, and raising to build this.

We're looking for partners who get the realities of clinical research. Every contribution β€” a GoFundMe donation or a serious check β€” goes straight into building and running the platform.

Investment Opportunities

  • Crowdsource Funding

Every dollar goes directly to keeping TrialPilot running β€” hosting the app, paying for the services that keep it reliable, and buying our engineers a cup of coffee. No bloated overhead, just real people building something that matters.

  • Seeking Investors

We're actively seeking serious investors who understand the unique challenges of clinical research. We welcome healthcare and life sciences investors who can provide expertise in regulatory affairs, healthcare technology, and patient outcomes to help guide our product development and market strategy.

Careers

Help us build the future of clinical research.

We're looking for talented people who care about this mission β€” engineers, marketers, patient advocates, data analysts, AI engineers, and anyone who believes clinical trials should work better for everyone.

Believe in this mission?

If you want to make trials work better for everyone β€” and get breakthrough treatments to the people waiting on them β€” we'd love to hear from you.
